1. Who We Are

Advanced Integrated Therapy is a healthcare practice located in Michigan. As a healthcare provider, we are a covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and are subject to its Privacy Rule and Security Rule. Our Notice of Privacy Practices, which governs how we handle your protected health information (PHI) in the context of your care, is available upon request and will be provided to you as a patient.

2. Information We Collect Through This Website

When you use our website, we may collect the following types of information:

a) Information you provide voluntarily

When you complete our website contact form, you may provide your name, email address, and phone number. You may also include a message in the comments field of the form.

Important notice regarding the contact form: Please do not include sensitive personal health information, medical history, diagnoses, medications, or other protected health information (PHI) in the contact form message field. This form is not a secure HIPAA-compliant communication channel. If you need to share health-related information with our team, please contact us directly by phone at (734) 855-5570 or through your secure patient portal.

b) Automatically collected information

When you visit our website, certain technical information may be collected automatically, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and time spent on pages. This information is collected through standard web server logs and, where applicable, analytics tools such as Google Analytics. This data is used in aggregate to understand how visitors use our site and to improve our online presence. It is not used to personally identify individual visitors.

3. How We Use Your Information

Information collected through the website contact form is used solely to:

  • Respond to your inquiry or consultation request
  • Schedule appointments or follow-up communications
  • Provide information about our services

We do not use your contact information for unsolicited marketing communications. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. HIPAA and Protected Health Information

As a HIPAA-covered entity, Advanced Integrated Therapy maintains strict policies and procedures to protect your protected health information (PHI). Your PHI — including medical records, treatment information, and health history — is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices, not by this website privacy policy.

Our Notice of Privacy Practices describes:

  • How we may use and disclose your PHI
  • Your rights regarding your PHI
  • Our legal obligations under HIPAA
  • How to file a complaint if you believe your privacy rights have been violated
